Art Deco Figurine Rendition of “Thais”. Sculpted Originally by Master Deco Artist Demetre Haralamb (D.H.) Chiparus in the 1920’s. The Piece Depicts a Female Dancer with Arms Placed Straight Forward and Straight Back, With Head Leaning Forward, As If in the Middle of a Dance Performance. The Reproduction Features One-of-a-Kind Custom Antique Polished Pewter Finish. A Finish Which Uniquely Reveals the Highly Detailed Cold-Cast Body – And Accents the Details of the Smooth Ivorine Hands, Forearms, Feet and Face. Sharp Detailing Can Be Found in the Pleats, Beads, Gloves, Head-Wrap – As Well as the Entire Figurine. The Figurine is Mounted on Solid, Genuine Marble Base Truly Detailed from Head to Toe.
